RSVP Dating

It’s free to become a member of RSVP. Free membership is restricted however, as is the case on every other dating site out there. You can still do some cool things on the free signup like view the profiles, and send another member a ‘kiss’ in RSVP lingo, which basically means you are interested in that person. Sending a response to a ‘kiss’ is also free, and lets the other member know if you are keen to receive any follow up correspondence.

RSVP offers a pay per contact method, so it pays to really research your suitors first. Their currency is ’stamps’, which allow you to send one email to one profile. Either sending or receiving an email opens a channel with another member and enables unlimited free contact for 30 days. During this time, you can communicate through your RSVP email address, which maintains privacy and security, or when you are comfortable, you exchange alternate contact details for email.

They offer an enormous amount of content on their site. Their eMagazine covers such topics as health, travel, books, dating advice, offers and prizes, blogs, and even podcasts.

RSVP even offer an sms / mobile dating service, which allows you to search profiles, view photos and video clips of other members, send and receive RSVP kisses and depending on your provider, a number of other features too.

Testimonials

I joined RSVP in mid September 2005 when a friend dared me to, thinking that nothing would ever come of it. After sending a kiss to Dave late September 2005 we chatted by email for a week.

On 8th October 2005 we met up in person and two days later I had moved into his house not believing how comfortable I felt with him and how happy I was. In December 2006 he proposed on the beach in Torquay and we were married in Ballarat on 19th January this year.

I was a bit skeptical at first about the thought of online dating, however I am so glad that I decided to take a chance on RSVP as I have now met and married the man of my dreams!

Thanks RSVP!

I often think what my life would be like if I hadn’t of taken the plunge to join RSVP. I never thought that I would have met such a wonderful guy. Brad and I met in February 2007 & had a fantastic first date together, since then we have been inseparable. We have so much in common and great family values.

In November 2007 we found out that we were pregnant with our first baby, then a few weeks after that we found out our offer was accepted for house we are purchasing together. So it’s now April 2008 & we have moved into a brand new house together and also have a baby on the way. Who would have thought? I love him with all my heart and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

I joined late last year and I wasn’t really all that enthusiastic about it but I did it any way as meeting people through my line of work is extremely difficult (being a private nanny some guys seem to think you are clucky for your own kids or think you are a parent).

I sent and recieved a few emails, none that really grabbed my attention. I was yet to accpet any dates, then a week before christmas I recieved a kiss from a guy called TaurasGuy and decided that his profile sounded quite close to the qualities that I was looking for. So we started talking online, we chatted numerous times and decided that after Christmas we would arrange a date. We decided to do something different and have our first date on new years eve.

But we then decided that a short date the day before the 31st was a better option, so we met up on smith street for lunch. We now don’t count that as our first date, we call that our ‘meeting’. But new years eve was the best date either of us had ever been on. It was relaxed, fun, easy and comfortable and we spent the whole time laughing… it couldn’t have gone better - and we basically havent been apart since.

We are just about to move in with each other and we both feel we have found our part within each other. I didn’t think using RSVP would work….but boy did you prove me wrong, my first date from your website actually turned out to be the right guy for me!

Thanks a zillion!
